WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: This individual will support our Public Impact and Resilience Communications Division. The Project Manager (PM) will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of marketing, media, and public outreach programs that support state disaster recovery initiatives.

This position is a contingent hire, meaning it is contingent on Fors Marsh winning an upcoming proposal. The interview process will be the same as our standard process, the offer letter (should we decide to move forward) will serve as a letter of commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage government contracts and lead a diverse teams to achieve program goals

-Coordinate with client staff to review contract requirements and emerging needs.

-Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules.

-Provide weekly executive briefings outlining completed activities, ongoing work, and future plans.

-Ensure compliance with relevant federal and state regulatory and compliance guidelines.

-Develop and execute strategic outreach and communications plans, including strategies for media and grassroots initiatives.

-Manage the implementation of community events, workshops, and information sessions

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree

-Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience delivering marketing, media, and public outreach initiatives

-At least 3 years of experience managing government contracts and leading teams.

-Experience federal disaster recovery programs, including a strong working knowledge of Federal CDBG-DR, HMGP and federal grants management field

-Demonstrated knowledge of Florida state policies, requirements, and procedures.

-Experience in media planning and buying, community outreach, project management, and fair housing/equal opportunity compliance.

-Excellent written and oral communications skills

-Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to our federal contract requirements.

-Ability to work on-site in various Florida areas as needed.

Location: Hybrid, some on-site and some remote work. Must be located in and willing to travel to various locations in Florida.
